BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018 - <br />TO AUTHORIZE THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF PERRY ROAD <br />WHEREAS: On January 2, 2018, the Board of County Commissioners set a hearing <br />date to consider the proposed vacation of a portion of Perry road right-of- <br />way; and <br />WHEREAS: The Notice of Hearing was conducted in accordance with Kittitas County <br />Code 12.22 Vacation of County Roads; and <br />WHEREAS: Said hearing was held on February 6, 2018 at 2:00 pm by the Board of <br />County Commissioners; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board determined theses portions of road right of way do not benefit <br />the county road system; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board determined the public will be benefited by vacating the <br />portions of road right of way as a result of all served parcels now falling <br />under the ownership of a single large scale agricultural operation; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in <br />the best interest of the public, and after careful consideration of the facts, <br />testimony and evidence presented at said hearing does hereby declare the <br />vacation of that portion of Perry Road, subject to the receipt of suitable <br />lands to allow for constructing a turn -around the new end of county road. <br />DATED on this 6th day of February 2018, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />Obie O'Brien, Vice -Chairman <br />Paul Jewell, Commissioner <br />
