LETTER SLOTHOWER COMMISSIONERS Chairman Jewell presented a letter he received from Attorney Jeff Slothower regarding his client's property (Tax Parcel No. 287733). He stated it was his recollection that the Board wasn't interested in purchasing it but wanted to double check before he responded to Mr. Slothower in a formal capacity. Commissioner O'Brien and Commissioner Osiadacz were in agreement that they were still not interested in purchasing Tax Parcel No. 287733. Staff was directed to prepare a letter for Chair signature notifying Mr. Slothower of the Board's decision. RATIFY TREAT WATER AGREEMENT COMMISSIONERS Commissioner O'Brien moved to ratify Chair signature on the Treat Water Right Agreement signature page (DOE). Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. TRAINING WSDOT - 2017 INNOVATIONS CONF. COMMISSIONERS Commissioner Osiadacz stated that the Board has been invited to the Annual Innovations & Partnerships in Transportation Event, by DOT Regional Administrator Todd Trepanier. She stated that it's on 12/5/2017 in Tacoma, WA and the cost is $150.00. Commissioner Osiadacz questioned if the Board should send someone to attend. The Board determined that since it's an Agenda day they would not be able to attend, however Commissioner Osiadacz was encouraged to share the Conference with Public Works Staff. DISCUSSION SPOKC LEASE PROPOSAL COMMISSIONERS Commissioner O'Brien presented a lease proposal from SPOKC. He stated that they are interested in leasing space downstairs in the Morris Sorenson Building at 507 N Nanum Street. The Board asked Commissioner O'Brien to find out additional information and report back. They expressed some concern in the proposal relating to payment and timeline of payment.
