A Second Renotice was issued on July 10, 2008 with the comment period ending on <br />July 29, 2008 reflecting changes that Kittitas County Public Works had requested for <br />road alignment and an approved Road Variance with required conditions to be shown <br />on the preliminary plat map. This notice was published in the official county paper of <br />record and was mailed to jurisdictional government agencies, adjacent property <br />owners and other interested parties. All continents received from those comment <br />periods were considered by the Hearing Examiner. (Staff Report and Hearing <br />Examiner finding) <br />14. Kittitas County issued a Mitigated Determination of Nonsignificance (MDNS) on <br />September 8, 2008 as in accordance with WAC 197-11-355 (Optional DNS process). <br />There were no appeals of the SEPA NIDNS filed. (Staff Report and Hearing <br />Examiner finding) <br />15. The proposal is consistent with the goals and policies of the Kittitas County <br />Comprehensive Plan. The proposed subdivision will be adequately served by rural <br />levels of service. Adequate provisions will be provided to minimize impacts to <br />Currier Creek. The lots will be served by a Group A water system and community <br />drain fields transitioning to a Class A Reclaimed Water System. Staff has conducted <br />an administrative critical area review in accordance with KCC 17A and found four <br />wetlands on the subject property. Currier Creek also flows thru the development and a <br />100 foot buffer shall be maintained to protect the creek. (Staff Report and Hearing <br />Examiner -finding) <br />16.
