Ili r. ryX\111 i <br />x I-I-1-11'AS (TP FN,F-1' <br />KiTTITAS C ""Xy TTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Chuck Reed ( Road Foreman) <br />DATE: May 10, 2016 <br />SUBJECT: Suncadia Multisport Summer Festival special event application <br />I have reviewed the special permit application from Richard Jessups, the coordinator of <br />the Suncadia Multisport special event which is schedule for July 29-30-31 2016 being <br />organized out of the Suncadia resort area. <br />I have spoken to the organizer (Richard Jessups) regarding road closures as indicated <br />in the application. This event covers several jurisdictions and there will be No road <br />closures. <br />I recommend approving this event based on the following criteria. <br />1. Local advertisement of event and detours in the local paper (NKC Tribune and <br />Daily record) two week in advance to inform the traveling public of the upcoming <br />event. <br />2. All traffic control personnel shall have current traffic control certification. <br />3.
