• Under the description of the project, Exhibit G, you have indicated that approval of the final plat
will be completed within fourteen (14) days. We are not processing final plats within that short
of time period. Under the current situation, it would take at least four weeks to be in front of the
Commissioners for their approval by resolution. That requirement, the second half of the
statement, would have to be stricken.
Under the paragraph related to Stage 1, Phase 1, second paragraph, it is indicated that the
"model home and/or a real estate sales office may be served, on a temporary bases (sic), by a
50 gallon, or larger, cistern for potable water, community drain field, and infrastructure from
facilities located on Reecer Creek road..." Any issues related to water or septic systems will
have to be agreed upon by the Health Department of Kittitas County and we would not
recommend agreement to this without their review and consent.
• Under the section entitled "Notes Effecting Stages 1, 2, and 3," the third paragraph indicates
that "Building Permits and home construction may proceed... prior to final plating (sic) or
bonding of the current Phase under construction..." I cannot recommend construction of homes
or occupancy permits before the approval of the final plat. This places the County in jeopardy if
the final plat is not completed.
• Again, the 20 -year completion period with the possibility of extension as indicated in the
following paragraph is unacceptable.
Give me a call so that we can set a time to discuss these issues. Thanks.
Sincerely,
Pcb - oc' Hansen
Director, Community Development Services
