Policies <br />1. Uses and development within the shoreline jurisdiction should be consistent with the <br />provisions of the environment designation in which they are located and the policies <br />and regulations of this Program. <br /> <br />2. Require a shoreline conditional use permit for shoreline uses and development that <br />require specially tailored environmental analysis, design criteria, or consideration of <br />cumulative impacts and for unanticipated uses not classified in this Program. <br /> <br />3. New uses and developments should be set back to protect ecological function and <br />protect structures from flooding and channel migration hazards. <br />4. Avoid and reduce significant ecological impacts according to the mitigation <br />sequence in Section 5.2(B)(2).
