BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH WEED SPRAY MATERIALS FOR 2016 <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 2, 2016, for <br />Weed Spray Materials for 2016; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 18, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas <br />County Public Works and three (3) bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Helena <br />Chemical Company be accepted; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2016 Weed Spray Materials to Helena <br />Chemical Company, upon such terms and conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by <br />said bidder. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder. <br />DATED this 1st day of March, 2016, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Obie O'Brien, Chairman <br />Attest: <br />❑ Clerk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Paul Jewell, Vice -Chairman <br />❑ Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Gary Berndt, Commissioner <br />
