The program was designed specifically <br />for our utility customers to extend coverage for the ORION <br />meter reading system hardware components. Whether <br />you need assistance with the day-to-day operation of <br />the reading hardware, obtaining software updates or <br />troubleshooting and diagnosing an operating problem, <br />the ORION Meter Reading System Hardware Maintenance <br />Support Program provides peace of mind, knowing that our <br />technical support professionals are ready to answer your <br />questions to help keep your system up and running. <br />PROGRAM BENEFITS <br />Reduction of unexpected system downtime through <br />access to loaner equipment and online software updates. <br />Improved productivity with 24-hour availability of <br />Badger Meter technical support professionals. <br />Maximized utility revenue through tools that promote <br />timely operation and billing. <br />• Peace of mind knowing you are getting the maximum <br />return on your ORION meter reading system investment. <br />MAINTENANCE SUPPORT PROGRAM <br />The ORION Meter Reading System Hardware Maintenance <br />Support Program has been designed to provide utilities with <br />added protection for their investment in ORION hardware <br />for up to four additional years after the expiration of the <br />initial product warranty. The Program includes all parts and <br />repairs—with the exception of accessory products including <br />batteries, antennas, communication cables, deliberate or <br />malicious customer damage and lost or stolen hardware— <br />for the ORION Mobile Reading System, ORION network <br />gateway transceiver, ORION gateway receiver and the <br />Trimble® Ranger handheld. <br />The customer shall be responsible for all direct and indirect <br />costs associated with removing the product and reinstalling <br />the repaired or replacement product. <br />The ORION Meter Reading System Hardware Maintenance <br />Support Program includes unlimited software updates, <br />evaluation and testing of reading equipment, priority access <br />to loaner equipment support during repair process, and <br />unlimited access to the Badger Meter 24-hour technical <br />support hotline. In addition, a ten percent discount is <br />available on all WebEx® and on-site hardware training upon <br />request.
