"3 Badger Meter <br />OVERVIEW <br />ORIONO <br />Trimble' Ranger 3 <br />The Trimble® Ranger 3 is a full -featured, handheld data collection <br />computer. It combines a Windows® mobile operating system, <br />ergonomic keypad and military -grade durability, providing a full <br />day of continuous meter reading. The Trimble Ranger 3 handheld is <br />compatible with manual, touch and ORION* endpoint systems. <br />OPERATION <br />System: The Trimble Ranger 3 handheld uses the Windows Mobile <br />6.5 Professional operating system with the Badger Meter suite of <br />handheld software. <br />Display: A large 4.2 inch, high resolution color, resistive touch <br />screen with LED backlight supports reading in both sunlight <br />and darkness. <br />Control: The Trimble Ranger 3 handheld features ergonomic <br />navigation with versatile alpha and numeric keypads that are easy <br />to use, even when wearing gloves.The user may also operate the <br />handheld using the easy -to -navigate touch screen controls. <br />Power: A lithium ion rechargeable battery pack powers the <br />Trimble Ranger 3 handheld, providing a full day of continuous <br />usage under normal operating conditions. <br />The handheld can be charged using either the Office Docking <br />Station or AC power supply that comes with the handheld. <br />An optional DC power vehicle charger and spare battery are <br />also available. <br />Performance: The Trimble Ranger 3 handheld was designed <br />to meet MIL -STD -810G military standards for drops, vibration, <br />humidity, altitude and extreme temperatures.
