RESOLUTION NO 15-011 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF <br />ROSLYN, WASHINGTON AUTHORIZING <br />THE 2016 REGULAR PROPERTY TAX <br />LEVY <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roslyn held a public hearing on the <br />proposed 2016 property tax levy; and <br />WHEREAS, after considering all testimony and deliberations on the projected 2016 <br />revenues and expenditures and tax levy, the City Council of the City of Roslyn has <br />determined that the City requires the 1% Tax Levy increase, in order to sustain and <br />improve the level of service provided to the citizens of the City of Roslyn; and <br />WHEREAS, Roslyn's levy from 2015 was $193,477.33; and <br />WHEREAS, a 1% increase of $1,934.77 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roslyn's population is under 10,000; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSLYN, <br />WASHINGTON, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. A regular property tax is hereby levied for 2016 with a 1% increase, in the <br />regular property tax levy from the previous year.
