BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />N0, <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH PETROLEUM AND LUBRICANT PRODUCTS FOR 2016 AND <br />AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was advertised for Petroleum and Lubricant Products for 2016 on <br />December 1, 2015; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on December 17, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas County Public <br />Works and four (4) bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bids of A-1 Petroleum for <br />Schedule "A"; R.E. Powell Distributing for Schedule "B"; and A & I Distributors for Schedule <br />"C" be accepted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest of the <br />public, does hereby award the bid for 2016 Fuel to A-1 Petroleum for Schedule "A"; R.E. Powell Distributing <br />for Schedule "B", based on profit margin; and A & I Distributors for Schedule "C', upon such terms and <br />conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the contract <br />documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />DATED this 5th day January, 2016, at Ellensburg, Washington, <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Attest: <br />Clerk of the Board <br />
