KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />SESSION DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED <br />STAFF REPORT <br />January 5, 2016 <br />Sign WSDOT Agreement GCB 2170 <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County has received a Regional <br />Mobility Grant for constructing a park and ride <br />facility at I-90 Exit 78. <br />Washington State Department of <br />Transportation (WSDOT) owns the land being <br />improved and will maintain the completed <br />facility once improvements are completed. <br />WSDOT is requesting an agreement allowing <br />them to manage the project on behalf of the <br />County. The County is not placing any money <br />in the project but will have agreement <br />administration costs that are not cost <br />recoverable. <br />INTERACTION: Washington State Department of <br />Transportation <br />RECOMMENDATION: Motion to approve the Resolution and Sign the <br />agreement. <br />HANDLING: Return (2) originals to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution authoring the Board sign WSDOT <br />Agreement GCB 2170 and the agreement <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
