BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. <br />RESOLUTION TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH MAINTENANCE ROCK <br />MATERIALS FOR 2016 AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO <br />SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on December 1, 2015, to <br />furnish Maintenance Rock Materials for 2016; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on December 17, 2015,at 2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas <br />County Public Works and one bid was received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of <br />Ellensburg Cement Products be accepted for Schedules "A", "B" and "C" for <br />Maintenance Rock Materials for 2016; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2016 Maintenance Rock Materials to <br />Ellensburg Cement Products for Schedules "A", "B", and "C, upon such terms and conditions as <br />specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder(s). <br />DATED this 5th day of January, 2016, at Ellensburg, Washington <br />Attest: <br />Clerk of the Board <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chair <br />Vice -Chair <br />Commissioner <br />
