February 24, 2009
Holly Duncan
Environmental Health Specialist
Kittitas County
Environmental Health
507 North Naneum St., Suite 102
Ellensburg, WA 98926
Dear Holly:
I received your phone message regarding my plats' water situation while I was in
southern Utah several weeks ago. You indicated that I would need to work with Ecology
on my securing water for my pending Wildcat and Tiger plats.
I have had Aztec Estates Plat (SP -07-09) approved for 7 lots with individual wells.
Eagles Landing Short Plat (SP-07-33was also approved using the existing Group B well
(Mission View #05361R) as the source of water for two lots. That would mean that that
well would then have six connections, the current approved maximum. That would
handle the water needs of Eagles Landing Short Plat.
Before I begin to further discuss this water situation with Ecology, would you verify in
writing that the previous above paragraph is correct? I need to have a baseline as what
was approved for water when Aztec Estates Plat and Eagles Landing Short Plat were
approved.
I would appreciate a prompt reply, as I want to move forward on this matter. I want to do
some soil logs, but I want the water situation clarified before I do that.
Sincerely,
William D.
