The Planning Commission recommended approval of the proposal to the Board of County <br />Commissioners with a vote of 4-0. <br />II. No public testimony for this proposal was received. <br />III. The change meets the Growth Management Act and the objectives of the Comprehensive <br />Plan. <br /> <br />17-07 Kittitas County Proposal: <br />Amendment to KCC Title 6 to Create a Dog Control Ordinance, Exhibit G. <br /> <br />This amendment would adopt a new dog control ordinance for Kittitas County. <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on December 19, 2017 and approved the <br />request with amendment by a 2-0 vote finding that: <br /> <br />I. The Planning Commission recommended approval to the Board of County Commissioners with a <br />vote of 4-0. <br />II. Public testimony was received in support of the proposed dog control ordinance. <br />III. The amendment would protect the public, ensure that dog owners are responsible and <br />accountable, and provide the Sherriff’s Office with tools for enforcement. <br /> <br />17-08 Kittitas County Proposal: <br />Amendment to Title 12 Road Variance Provisions, Exhibit H. <br /> <br />This amendment to KCC Title 12 would provide notice to fire districts of road variance applications <br />and would provide Road Variance Committee standards for recusal and adherence to the appearance <br />of fairness doctrine. <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on December 19, 2017 and approved the <br />request as presented by a 2-0 vote, finding that:
