WHEREAS: in accordance with the Interlocal Agreement, Kittitas County will provide notice to each <br /> successful applicant and will require a contract be agreed to and signed by each <br /> successful applicant prior to funding awards being available for reimbursement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: in accordance with the Interlocal Agreement, Kittitas County will serve as the single <br /> reimbursing agency for all successful applicants and will bill each participating <br /> municipality’s lodging tax fund for its respective share of any reimbursements awarded <br /> and applied for; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the legislative authorities for Kittitas County and the cities of Ellensburg, Cle Elum, and <br /> Roslyn are approving only their respective lodging tax fund grant awards. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That Kittitas County hereby awards the 2018 Hotel/Motel <br />Tax fund grants distribution for special events and projects as follows: <br /> <br /> Hospice Friends – Cruisin’ for Hospice Classic Car Show $475.00 <br /> RTown Community – 2018 Arts in Roslyn $1,028.00 <br /> Easton Memorial Day Celebration $2,500.00 <br /> Suncadia Fund for Community Enhancement – Harvest Festival $5,000.00 <br /> Suncadia Fund for Community Enhancement – Art Festival $5,000.00 <br /> Suncadia Fund for Community Enhancement – Kite Festival $5,000.00 <br /> Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce – Roslyn Mountain Ale Festival $897.00 <br /> Plum Crazy Events – Roslyn Canine Festival $8,500.00 <br /> Red’s Fly Shop – Red’s Rendezvous $5,000.00 <br /> Huffman Farms – Huffman Farms Pumpkin Festival $5,500.00 <br /> Kittitas Environmental Education Network – Hard Cider Fest $6,630.00 <br /> Western Art Association – National Fine Art Show and Auction $7,580.00 <br /> Kittitas Environmental Education Network – 2nd Annual Bird Fest $7,000.00 <br /> Junk-tiquen in the Burg – 2018 Fall Vintage Show $2,195.00 <br /> Junk-tiquen in the Burg – 2018 Spring Vintage Show $7,500.00 <br /> Clymer Museum and Gallery – Promotions $2,000.00 <br /> Kittitas County Historical Society – Advertising $13,000.00 <br /> Washington State Horse Park – 2018 Marketing $17,512.00 <br /> Kittitas Valley Event Center – The Central Washington Chillaxle $10,000.00 <br /> Laughing Horse Arts Foundation – Jazz in the Valley $10,000.00 <br /> Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce – Tourism Entrepreneurship $21,200.00 <br /> Ellensburg Downtown Association – Hoedown in the Downtown, etc. $3,322.00 <br /> Spirit of the West Cowboy Gathering $7,600.00 <br /> <br /> <br />ADOPTED this _______ day of _______________, 2017, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Paul Jewel, Chair <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chair
