Docket 17-07: KCC Title 9 2017 | Page 17 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br /> A license for any kennel may be revoked, denied or not renewed, for failure to comply with <br />the provisions of this chapter, and such action by the department shall be final and conclusive <br />unless within twenty days of written notification thereof an appeal is filed. <br /> <br />6.01.430 Kennel license – Records required. <br /> <br /> Each kennel shall prepare, maintain and make available to the department a current record of <br />all dogs auctioned off, sold, let or otherwise disposed of, proof of vaccination, and a current <br />record of all dogs born within such facility or acquired from other sources. Such records shall <br />include the origin, the age and type of dog, and the name and address of the transferee or <br />transferor. A kennel shall have available for inspection at any time all required records, tags, <br />tattoos or micro-chip numbers for each dog. <br /> <br />6.01.440 Vaccination required. <br /> <br /> Each kennel shall cause each dog owned or sold by it to receive current and proper <br />immunization for distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza and parvovirus inoculation for dogs over <br />eight weeks of age and, in addition, rabies inoculation for dogs over four months of age. <br /> <br />ARTICLE VII: MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS <br /> <br />6.01.450 Severability. <br /> <br /> Should any section or provision of the ordinance codified in this Chapter be declared by the <br />courts to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of this Chapter <br />as a whole, or any part thereof other than the part so declared to be unconstitutional or invalid. <br /> <br />6.01.460 Immunity. <br /> <br /> Kittitas County, the animal control authority and the animal control officer shall be immune <br />from any and all civil liability for any actions taken pursuant to this Chapter, or for any failure <br />take action to enforce the provisions of this Chapter. It is not the purpose or intent of this Chapter <br />to create on the part of Kittitas County or its agents any special duties or relationships with <br />specific individuals. <br />
