Docket No. 17-06: KCC Title 17 Zoning 2017 | Page 2 of 53 <br /> <br />use in Urban and <br />LAMIRD Land use, (to <br />mirror Mini storage <br />use) <br /> 17.61.040- Addition of <br />property line setback <br />of 1.2 times the height <br />of the structure for <br />communication <br />facilities/towers <br /> <br />Kittitas County Community Development Services proposes amending KCC Title 17 Zoning: Chapter 17.08 <br />(Definitions), Section 17.15 (Allowed Uses), Section 17.61.040 (Communication Facilities). The majority of these <br />amendments are for clarity and consistency <br />Staff recommends revisions for the following: <br /> KCC Section 17.08- Add a definition for “Interpretive Center” <br /> KCC Section 17.08- Add a definition for “RV Storage” <br /> KCC Section 17.08.550- Make clarifying changes to the definition of “Non-conforming use” <br /> KCC 17.15, Allowed Use Table, as follows: <br />o Add Group Care Facilities to tables <br />o Add “Commercial Activities Associated with Agriculture” into use tables per ordinance 2009-25 <br />o Add interpretive centers as an allowed use in Ag 20 with an ACUP <br />o Add Manufactured home parks as an allowed use in general commercial <br />o Add RV storage as permitted use in Urban and LAMIRD Land use, (to mirror Mini storage use) <br />o 17.15.060.1- Revise foot note 23: Hay processing to make clearer (add comma) <br />o 17.15.070-Footnote 24, take out a & b bullets: permitted ADUs in LAMIRDS and UGA clarification <br />o 17.15.060.1- Add RV Park as a CU in Rural non LAMIRD, PUD zone, approved via ordinance <br />No.2016-023 <br /> KCC Section 17.61.040- Addition of property line setback of 1.2 times the height of the structure for <br />communication facilities/towers <br />DRAFT – November 2017 <br />Kittitas County Code Title 17 Zoning, amendments to KCC Chapter 17.08 (Definitions), Section 17.15 (Allowed <br />Uses), Section 17.61.040 (Communication Facilities) are proposed as follows: <br />17.08 Definitions <br />RV Storage: a commercial indoor and or outdoor space/area used to store recreational vehicle for any amount of <br />time. <br />Interpretive Center: An institution for dissemination of knowledge of natural or cultural heritage of the surrounding <br />area. <br />17.08.550 Use <br /> "Use" means the purpose for which land or building is arranged, designed or intended. <br />1."Permitted use" means a use allowed outright within a zone classification.
