BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2017 - <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE BY-LAWS OF THE KITTITAS <br />COUNTY REGIONAL LIBRARY BOARD <br />WHEREAS: On January 16, 1996 the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners <br />approved Resolution No. 96-09, which established the Kittitas County <br />Regional Library Board; and <br />WHEREAS: On August 15, 2017 the Kittitas County Regional Library Board reviewed <br />and recommended an amendment to the current By -Laws; <br />WHEREAS: The proposed amendment to the Kittitas County Regional Library Board <br />Bylaws adds an option for the Central Washington University's Brooks <br />Library Board to appoint a member if they decide to participate; and <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners has the authority to establish <br />and alter the Kittitas County Regional Library Board By -Laws by <br />Resolution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners <br />hereby affirms and approves the attached By -Laws as recommended by <br />the Kittitas County Regional Library Board. <br />Dated this day of November 2017. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Paul Jewell, Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice -Chairman <br />Obie O'Brien, Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board <br />
