The Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) selected your agency to <br />receive a Complete Streets Award. This recognition award includes a $125,000 grant. <br />What is the next step? <br />Sign both of the enclosed Complete Street Grant Agreements and mail both forms to <br />the TIB Office. TIB will return one fully executed agreement for your files and transfer <br />funds to your agency on or after March 1, 2017. <br />How can I use the grant? <br />The grant may only be used for elements shown on the approved TIB Complete <br />Streets Work Plan. Your approved work plan is enclosed. TIB may consider revisions <br />to the approved work plan throughout the life of the grant. <br />What is the deadline for expending the grant? <br />You must expend the Complete Streets grant by January 27, 2020. Any unused funds <br />must be returned to TIB. <br />How do I document the grant expenditures? <br />You must keep grant funds in a separate and identifiable account. After you exhaust <br />the funds, send TIB documentation showing the date, amount and description of all <br />expenditures related to the grant.
