<br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br /> STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2017- ____ <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO REJECT ALL BIDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County sought bids for a contractor to provide services to remove <br />11 (eleven) County owned Mobile homes from Shady Brook Mobile home park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County received three bids for the removal of the mobile homes; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The level of Insurance requirements were omitted from the bid documents; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The amounts of Insurance required by the County for this type of project <br />may be higher than some Contractors’ standard liability, auto, and products/completed <br />operations, and other types of coverage; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The nature and extent of the project has in fact changed substantially in <br />that a total of 22 (twenty-two) are now to be removed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The insurance requirements and any changes in circumstances will be <br />included in the next bid announcement to ensure that those interested in submitting a bid <br />are fully aware of the requirements prior to bidding; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the bids submitted for the Request <br />for Proposals dated March 7, 2017 and opened on March 27, 2017 are hereby rejected. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />DATED THIS _____ day of June, 2017 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br />________________________________________ <br /> Paul Jewell- Chairman
