RESOLUTION WITH CERTIFICATIONS OF COMPLIANCE INSTRUCTIONS <br />The applicant's local legislative body must pass a resolution authorizing the Chief Administrative Official to <br />submit the CDBG application to Commerce and certifying compliance with state and federal laws and <br />specific program requirements. For the current CDBG contract terms and conditions, contact CDBG staff. <br />Insert local and project specific information as indicated. This resolution may be reformatted to meet the <br />jurisdiction's requirements for official resolutions. <br />Amount Requested <br />List the total CDBG award amount, including county administration funds. <br />Sianature <br />The resolution must be signed by the county's authorized Chief Administrative Official, and a <br />signed copy (does not need to be original) must be included with the application. The Chief <br />Administrative Official is the Chair of the Board of County Commissioners or the County Administrator, as <br />applicable. <br />Using Previous Versions <br />• A resolution that references another project submitted previously for CDBG funding will not be <br />accepted. <br />■ A resolution using a prior year version may not be accepted, since new clauses may have been <br />added to this current version that apply to the proposed project. <br />29 <br />
