If your organization collaborates or has created partnerships with other organizations, <br />groups, or other events to cross -promote in an effort to encourage county -wide <br />tourism, how is this accomplished? <br />Our largest collaboration is going to be with the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce. But I feel in the <br />process we will have several partners with businesses, groups, events. <br />Starting list: <br />Trinity Farms - Annual Bull Sale <br />Wesco Hay Growers - intl travelers <br />Thrall n Dodge Winery/Tasting Room <br />Kittitas Country Hardware <br />Hairtage Hair Salon <br />Christmas in Kittitas <br />Olmstead State Park <br />Threshing Bee Event <br />Kruisin Kittitas - Burnouts <br />We now that we are a small community, we will partner with anyone willing to help cross promote the <br />county. We will do everything on the website and through our visitor information displays. <br />6. Please explain what plans exist to allow this project to become self-sustaining. Include <br />any plans for ticket sales, event sponsors, and other cost -recovery models. <br />The City of Kittitas will be creating a resolution to receive the max tax rate from the <br />accommodations that is in the community. Just that alone will allow us to have additional <br />monies that we will be able to use for the efforts that will come out of the branding process <br />and marketing needs that will continue to become important. We are very excited for our <br />future and we are just needing to put the foot forward to start running. <br />7. Additional information: Provide any additional information which will assist the Lodging <br />Tax Advisory Committee in evaluating your project and its benefit to tourism. Please <br />limit any additional written information to one page and any other additional <br />attachments to 3 pages. Regardless of how much additional information is included, <br />only the first 3 pages will be provided to reviewers. <br />8. Project Budget: Please attach a copy of the complete budget for this project/proposal. <br />If your agency operates independently of this project application it may not be <br />necessary to submit the entire agency budget.
