Please provide the following estimates of how any money received will <br />result in increases in the number of people traveling for business or <br />pleasure on atrip: <br />1. Away from their place of residence or business and staying <br />overnight in paid accommodations, <br />Figures are based on attendance at previous RevitalizeWA conferences — most <br />attendees would be from 50 miles or more except for attendees from Ellensburg, <br />who will not be overnight guests; Cle Elum and Roslyn, who may stay overnight; <br />and Yakima and Selah, who most likely will stay overnight. It should be noted that <br />the statics WSMS have for last year include only the conference center, which sold <br />out the 125 available rooms, and that they do not have statics for the other hotel <br />stays in the conference area. Numbers based on double occupancy, although many <br />people travel alone and would take <br />• First Night Conference Stays — Sunday — 165 rooms <br />a Second Night Conference Stays— Monday— 185 rooms <br />• Third Night Conference Stays — Tuesday —185 rooms <br />Total Room Nights — 535 rooms <br />11.
