Employees who have an emergent or extraordinary schedule conflict on the announced test date may request an <br />alternate date. The reason(s) for the request must be presented to the Sheriff, or his designee, in writing. The Sheriff <br />shall make the final decision regarding the granting of an alternate test date. <br />The testing will be administered by members of the Command Staff from the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office. <br />E. TESTING RESULTS <br />Those employees who elect to enroll and participate in the program, and who have achieved a passing score on each <br />semi-annual test, shall be entitled to receive the fitness incentive pay described below if such employees do not <br />achieve a passing score such employee shall not be eligible to receive any fitness incentive pay until the next <br />succeeding scheduled semi-annual test is conducted. <br />F. FITNESS TEST BENCHMARKS -FITNESS INCENTIVE PAY <br />MINIMUM TEST REQUIREMENTS: To be eligible to receive fitness incentive pay, participants must pass all four of the <br />following tests: 300 -meter run, push-ups, sit-ups and 1.5 mile run/walk. <br />Each participating employee who passes the physical fitness test shall be entitled to receive fitness incentive pay, <br />paid monthly, in an amount specified in the contract. <br />PHYSICAL ABILITY TEST STANDARDS <br />The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office Physical Ability Test (PAT) shall utilize the same elements as the test <br />administered by the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission for entry level police academy recruits <br />but will not be scored the same. At each semi-annual test, the June 2008 CJTC scoring system will be utilized, and <br />an overall score of 170 or better must be achieved to be eligible for the incentive pay. <br />The PAT is comprised of four tests <br />-300 Meter Run <br />-Push-ups <br />-Sit-ups <br />-1.5 Mile run/walk <br />Tests may be administered in the above order. While not required, the test battery process should be sequenced <br />as follows: <br />1. Warm-up (5-10 minutes) may be self-directed or led by test personnel. <br />- general warm-up of 2-3 minutes followed by 5-7 minutes of stretching to include stretches for shoulders, <br />back, upper and lower legs. <br />2. PAT <br />- 300 Meter run (followed by 15 minutes rest) <br />- Sit-ups (followed by 5 minutes rest) <br />- Push-ups (followed by 10 minutes rest) <br />-1.5 Mile run/walk (followed by 5 minute cool down to include walking and stretching) <br />30 I Kittitas County Line Deputies 1/1/17-12/31/21 <br />
