3. Real Property: If real property acquisition is a component of the project, please explain. <br />The trail alignment is located on both private and public property. In terms of percentages, 56% of the <br />trail alignment is on publically owned property and 44% is on private property. Private property owners <br />have provided letters of support for the trail and are willing to work with the public agencies on the <br />development of the trail. <br />4. Coordination: Please explain how this project is being coordinated with other entities as well as <br />affected stakeholders. Please include letters of support from stakeholders and partner <br />agencies. <br />Representatives from the public agencies meet on a semi -regular basis to talk about trail development. <br />The trail plan is identified on the public agencies master plans, non -motorized transportation plans, park <br />plans, and capital improvement plans. In 2003 a Charter Agreement was signed by each of the four <br />public agencies (CWU, City, County, State Parks) which states that each agency agrees to do what they <br />can to get the trail built. <br />5. Studies: Please attach feasibility or other studies that demonstrate linkages between the <br />proposed project and the anticipated outcomes. <br />The John Wayne Pioneer Trail Reconnection Study was completed 2001. This is a 73 page document <br />that explains project need, trail location, trail cross-sections, letters of support and cost estimates. <br />6.
