TUESDAY 5:30 PM JUNE 9TH, 2026
Board Members Present:
Hope Isitt, Amy Mohler,Toby Allphin (Vice-Chair), David McBride,Jaelyn McMahan,Justin Grindrod,
Jason Self, Rich Elliott
Excused: Brett Wachsmith (Chair),
Others: Emma Madland (Clerk), Laurie Holt, Robin Read, Michelle Williams (Parent to Parent), Olivia
Holsclaw (Ability Employment)
1. Meeting called to order at 5:30 PM.
2. Citizen Comments:Jason Self shared that People First of Ellensburg organized a showing of the
movie Champions.The event cannot be formally advertised by the theater, but he wanted to
provide information and encourage others to attend.
3. Approval of Minutes:
MOTION TO APPROVE MAY 26TH 2O26 MEETING MINUTES: Hope Isitt moved to approve the
meeting minutes. Rich Elliott second. Motion carried to approve the May 26th, 2026, meeting
minutes.
4. Strategic Planning: Robin Read shared inspiration for visuals to go along with the Mission,Vision,
and guiding values.The group discussed using real images or partnering with individuals who
have developmental disabilities to create visuals through art.The committee then broke into
small groups to perform a situational analysis.They welcomed Michelle Williams and Olivia
Holsclaw to participate for additional community insight. Following their breakout groups, Robin
reviewed results and worked with the group to identify trends.They used these to inform a
discussion on priorities. Housing emerged as a high-priority topic.
