Board members present: Ann Shaw and Nicole Gessel.
Staff: Jessica Miller, Clerk.
The meeting was opened for the Board of Equalization (BOE) at 11: 05 a.m.
CITIZEN COMMENTS (1 min. time limit)
There are no citizen comments
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Ann Shaw moved to approve the meeting minutes from March 12, 2026. Jessica
Hutchinson seconded. Discussion - None. Motion carried.
DISCUSS/DECISION - REQUEST TO RECONVENE PETITION
BOE reviewed the Request to Reconvene submitted by Matthew Cox for parcels
14077, 14076, and 271833 . Petitioner included recent appraisal with the
Request to Reconvene that was completed in 2026. The clerk mentioned that
they spoke with the Department of Revenue regarding the chosen reconvene
code. The reconvene code states that the assessor submits an affidavit to
the board. The Board of Equalization discussed and agreed that the Request
to Reconvene does not qualify per code 02.
Motion by Ann Shaw to deny the appeal Request to Reconvene. Seconded by
Nicole Gessel. Discussion - none. Motion passed.
