CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m.
CITIZEN COMMENTS (3 MIN. TIME LIMIT)
No citizen comment(s) .
EXECUTIVE SESSION: RCW 42.30.110(g) To evaluate the qualifications of an applicant
for public employment or to review the performance of a public employee. However,
subject to employment to be generally applied within the agency shall occur in a
meeting open to the public, and when a governing body elects to take final action
hiring, setting the salary of an individual employee or class of employees, or
discharging or disciplining an employee, that action shall be taken in a meeting
open to the public.

COG members recessed to Executive Session at 5: 31 p.m. until 5:46 p.m.
COG members reconvened out of Executive Session at 5: 46 p.m. and requested an
additional 5 minutes.

DISCUSSION/DECISION: SPECIAL EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Matthew Lundh made a motion to amend the draft agreement and add the amount of
$165, 000 annual salary under Section Five (5) (first highlight) and under Sub-
Section B the Merit Increase be Five Percent (5a) (second highlight) and forward
to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) for review and approval. Jeff Adams
seconded the motion. Discussion was held regarding a meeting with the BOCC if
necessary to discuss the agreement further. Motion passed.
