PROCLAMATION <br />AU % "o F, <br />?� Y <br />!; FT1 .43 h <br />Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Girls Basketball Team <br />State Champions Day <br />March 30, 2026 <br />WHEREAS: on March 7, 2026, the Cle Elum—Roslyn High School Girls Basketball team won the 2026 WIAA <br />2B Girls Basketball State Championship title; and <br />WHEREAS: in the 2025-2026 season, the Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Girls Basketball team took first place <br />in the EWAC West Division and League Tournament, and 2n1 place in the District 5 2B <br />Tournament and then qualified for the 2B State High School Girls Basketball Tournament in <br />Spokane, Washington; and <br />WHEREAS: in the final championship game of the State Tournament, the Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Girls <br />Basketball Team defeated Reardan High School by a score of 49-43, earning the program's first <br />state title since 1993; and <br />WHEREAS: the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners would like to recognize the Cle Elum-Roslyn High <br />School Girls Basketball Team for their exceptional season including Berklie Singer, Grace Singer, <br />Makena Slimp, Nellie Nicholls, Charlotte Nansel, Payson Berry, Rylee Keller, Gracie Glondo, <br />Cara Coleman, Jadison Wallick, Delaney Berry, Cienna Smith, along with their coaches and <br />assistants; and <br />WHEREAS: the individuals on the Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Girls Basketball Team have demonstrated <br />leadership both on and off the court and have served as ambassadors of Kittitas County, while <br />displaying great sportsmanship, dedication, commitment, teamwork, and love for the sport of <br />basketball; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners would like to request <br />that the citizens of Kittitas County join them in celebrating and honoring the 2025-2026 WiAA 2B Girls Basketball <br />State Champions by proclaiming March 30, 2026, as "Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Girls Basketball Team State <br />Champions Day" in Kittitas County. <br />ADOPTED this 17" day of March 2026. <br />Clerk of the Board <br />THE KITTITAS COUNTY <br />tinARD Iz1✓POMMISSIONERS <br />Ci <br />hairman <br />Commissioner <br />
