TOPIC: Kittitas County 2026 Periodic Comprehensive Plan Update
Briefing-Preliminary Draft Policy Review of Transportation,
Capital Facilities,Utilities,Economic Development,Parks and
Recreation.
ACTION REQUESTED: No Action Requested
BACKGROUND: CDS and Kimley-Horn continue to move forward in planning for
our 20-year, 2026 Periodic Comprehensive Plan Update. A
briefing was presented to the Kittitas County Planning
Commission at their regularly scheduled meeting held on
Tuesday, October 14,2025. The briefing focused on providing
the following:
• Overview of Initial Draft policies for Transportation,Capital
Facilities,Utilities,Economic Development,Parks and
Recreation
• Key Questions and Feedback
• Next Steps
