Ellensburg Rodeo Arena Improvements
Recommendation to Award Contract
Dear Patti:
There were eight(8)bids submitted on October 7, 2025 for the"Ellensburg Rodeo Arena
Improvements". One bid didn't include a Bid Bond and thus should be considered non-
responsive.This was the second low bid. Seven of the eight bids were fairly close with one
bid being substantially higher than the rest.The average of these seven bids was
approximately$5,452,000.The low bid of$5,030,000 was submitted by Cascade Central
Construction, LLC.We have reviewed this bid and recommend awarding a Contract to
Cascade Central Construction.
One Alternate for lighted signs was bid. Cascade Central Construction's bid of$35,000
appears to be a fair price and in the middle of the range of all alternate bids. We recommend
including the Alternate in the award.
