KITTITAS COUNTY <br /> SHORT TERM RENTAL COMMITTEE MINUTES <br /> Chamber of Commerce <br /> 609 N Main St, Ellensburg <br /> Special Meeting <br /> THURSDAY 3 : 30 PM November 21 , 2024 <br /> Committee members present: Amy McGuffin, Bryan Pittman, Gina <br /> Peckman, Jessica Karraker, Nicole Johnson, Derek Doremus, Norman <br /> Pascoe, and Dayna Larimer. <br /> Not Present: Joe Fithian. <br /> Others Present: Jamey Ayling, Chace Pedersen, and Shannon <br /> Johnson and no (0) members of the public. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Meeting was called to order at 3 : 32 PM <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS (1 min. time limit) <br /> There were no public comments . <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Motion by Amy McGuffin to approve the October 17, 2024 minutes <br /> as presented. Seconded by Jessica Karraker. Discussion - none . <br /> Motion passed. <br /> DISCUSSION - REVIEW DRAFT SURVEY QUESTIONS AND DISCUSS OUTREACH <br /> EFFORTS <br /> Planning Manager Jamey Ayling provided a brief update on Planner <br /> Chace Pedersen and that this will be his last meeting. <br /> Discussion occurred between various members providing feedback <br /> about the provided surveys with regards to the questions, <br /> keeping consistent verbiage throughout the survey, what kind of <br /> platform it would be presented on to the community, and how to <br /> go about outreach with regards to funding, social media and <br /> locations . <br /> Committee members asked for follow up on what kind of budget or <br /> funds were available to provide the survey to the community. <br /> Planning Manager Ayling stated we did receive permission to put <br /> the survey on social media on the Board of County Commissioners <br /> Facebook page . <br /> Planning Manager Ayling stated he would compile all the <br /> discussed and requested changes to the draft survey and send <br /> them out to the committee members . <br /> 2024-11-21 MINUTES 1 <br />
