KITTITAS COUNTY <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> Courthouse RM 201 , ELLENSBURG <br /> Regular Meeting <br /> TUESDAY 6 : 00 PM August 13, 2024 <br /> Board members present: Bruce Coe, Michael Lundin, Joseph <br /> Pearson, Warren Taylor, Pat Deneen, and Scott Carlson. <br /> Not Present: None <br /> Others : Chad Bala, Jamey Ayling, and Jessica Miller and one (1) <br /> members of the public. <br /> Meeting was called to order at 6 : 00 P.M. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS (1 min. time limit) <br /> There were no citizen comments . <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Motion by COMMISSIONER DENEEN to approve the three sets of <br /> minutes as submitted. COMMISSIONER CARLSON seconded. Motion <br /> passed. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> ANNUAL COMPREHENSIVE PLAN DOCKET ITEM REVIEW <br /> Handouts were provided at the meeting. DIRECTOR BALA <br /> presented each item on the 2024 docket list . <br /> Docket Item 2024-01 - Annual Comprehensive Plan Application <br /> Docket Deadline Date Changed from June 30th to March 30th of <br /> every year. This item was proposed by CDS staff. The <br /> Commissioners discussed their concerns about the shortened <br /> timeline for the publics ability to submit docket items and <br /> notifying the public of the new deadline for submitting <br /> changes . <br /> Docket Item 2024-02 - LAMIRD update - This item was <br /> proposed by CDS staff. The Commissioners discussed this <br /> item the need to become consistent with state law. <br /> Docket Item 2024-03 - Annexation - This item was submitted <br /> by CDS staff . There was discussion regarding the location <br /> 2024-8-13 MINUTES 1 <br />
