Please note that the three (3) citizen requests <br /> (Docket Item # 2024-11, 2024-12, & 2024-13 are still in the review process and will be in front <br /> of you later for consideration. <br /> The record for Docket Numbers 2024-01 thru 2024-10 includes the approved recommendations <br /> and findings of fact from the Planning Commission. In summary, the proposed amendments are <br /> as follows: <br /> 1. Docket Item 2024-01 — This amendment requested a change to the docketing deadline <br /> from June 306 to March 31st of each year. Kittitas County Community Development <br /> Services (KCCDS) Staff proposes to amend KC Comprehensive Plan annual docket <br /> deadline date of June 30th of every year to March 31St (Last working day of March) of <br /> every year. This allows for more time for processing the annual docket, issuing state <br /> notices, issuing SEPA, and scheduling of public hearing requirements with final approval <br /> from the Board of County Commissioners by December 31stof each year. <br /> • On September 10a', 2024, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing to <br /> consider Docket Item 2024-01 for the 2024 Annual Amendment to the <br /> Comprehensive Plan and unanimously recommended approval (4-0)to change the <br /> BOCC 2024 Annual Docket Study Session Staff Report Page 1 <br /> October 22"d,2024 <br />
