KITTITAS COUNTY <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES <br /> 2024 STUDY STAFF REPORT <br /> STUDY SESSION DATE: July 22nd, 2024 <br /> ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution supporting the proposed <br /> scope of work and budget request required for the <br /> Washington State Department of Commerce 2026 periodic <br /> update grant application. <br /> BACKGROUND: Kittitas County received a letter from WA ST Dept. of <br /> Commerce confirming that a 350,000.00 grant is available <br /> for Kittitas County to assist in the 2026 Comprehensive <br /> Plan Periodic Update. As part of the WA ST Dept. of <br /> Commerce's grant application, it is required that a <br /> supportive document be provided from the jurisdiction to <br /> complete the grant application. <br /> INTERACTION: CDS. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution supporting the proposed scope of <br /> work and budget request required by the WA. ST. Dept. of <br /> Commerce's Periodic Update Grant application. <br /> HANDLING: Return one original to Community Development Services. <br /> ATTACHMENTS: Resolution. <br /> LEAD STAFF: Chad Bala, Director. <br />
