BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />2o?f,-_lLL <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING BYLAWS OF THE l/lOTH OF IYO MENTAL <br />HEALTH AND CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY TAX ADVISORY BOARI) <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2022-185 established the Kittitas County l/1Oth of l% Mental Health and <br />Chemical Dependency Tax Advisory Board ("the Board") to develop the goals, objectives, and metrics <br />for the use of funds generated by the mental health and chemical dependency tax; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board has been meeting since May 2023, developing a mission statement, bylaws, and a <br />Request for Proposals draft; and <br />WHEREAS, the mission of the l/10th of 1% Mental Health & Chemical Dependency Tax Advisory <br />Board is to positively impact the process of change in which individuals improve their health and <br />wellness, live self-directed lives, and strive to reach their full potential; and <br />WHEREAS, on June 29,2023, the Board approved and adopted its bylaws. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves and <br />adopts the Kittitas County 1/10th of lo/oMental Health and Chemical Dependency Tax Advisory Board <br />Bylaws as presented. <br />Dated this / ts{-day of 2023 <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />Krr rrtr <br />$g Eff Y*t", wAS HrNG roN <br />Kjorsvik,of the Board <br />7 <br />StAL <br />,\N
