BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF KITTITAS STATE OF WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO.: 2008-if Lj REFORMATION OF THE KITTITAS COUNTY HOMELESSNESS COMMITTEE AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMITTEES WHEREAS: In 2007 Kittitas County formed the Affordable Housing Committee and Reformed the Homelessness Committee; and WHEREAS: The membership of both Committees now believe these Committees will be able to better address the needs of the Homeless and those in need of Affordable Housing if these Committees are combined; and WHEREAS: The Board of Commissioners finds it is in the best interest of the County and the public generally to combine these committees to address these issues comprehensively; and NOW, THEREFORE the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners hereby resolves that Affordable Housing Committee and the Homelessness Committee shall be combined into one Committee known as the Kittitas County Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee. FURTHER, the membership of the Kittitas County Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee shall consist of those members who presently serve on the respective Committees and shall continue uninterrupted until the expiration of their respective terms of appointment, which shall be two years for all members who are not appointed to represent either the city of Ellensburg or the County, who shall serve as "at-will" appointees. At any point of vacancy of a position, the Board of Commissioners shall appoint a new member to fill the vacated position. The Committee shall consist of the following members: 1) A Representative from Kittitas County, presently Cathy Bambrick 2) A Representative from the City of Ellensburg, presently Felmelle Miller 3) One homeless person or formerly homeless person, presently Charline Bond 4) Five at large Members: Presently: Ron Cridlebaugh, Hm'old Brockman, Jennifer Cm'kner, Nancy Goodloe, m1d Rozella Waschell
