RESO 2016-02 <br /> Southeast Washington Aging and Long Term Care <br /> Council of Governments <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2016_02 <br /> IN THE MATTER OF A RESOLUTION APPOINTING NEW MEMBERS TO THE <br /> SOUTHEAST WASHINGTON AGING AND LONG TERM CARE COUNCIL OF <br /> GOVERNMENTS ADVISORY COUNCIL <br /> WHEREAS, the Southeast Washington Aging and Long Term Care <br /> Council of Governments, d/b/a Southeast Washington Aging and Long <br /> Term Care (ALTC), is responsible under 45 CFR Part 1321.57 to implement <br /> the Older Americans' Act to establish an agency Advisory Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, Southeast Washington Aging and Long Term Care Council <br /> of Governments approved the Southeast Washington Aging & Long Term <br /> Care Advisory Council Bylaws on January 7, 2016 and; <br /> WHEREAS the Southeast Washington Aging and Long Term Care <br /> Advisory Council bylaws indicates that the ALTC Director in conjunction <br /> with the County Advisory Council shall be responsible in submitting the <br /> names of potential members to the COG Governing Board for <br /> consideration and; <br /> WHEREAS the Southeast Washington Aging and Long Term Care <br /> Advisory Council Bylaws encourages County Advisory Council members to <br /> recruit new members or trainees in their respective councils and trainees <br /> are approved by a majority vote of the County Advisory Council and; <br /> WHEREAS the Southeast Washington Aging and Long Term Care <br /> Advisory Council Bylaws gives trainees first priority in filling a vacancy <br /> created by a terminating council member and <br /> WHEREAS there are four vacancies in Kittitas County, and two <br /> trainees selected to fill two vacancies, Sharon Frazzini, Margaret "Peggy" <br /> Rusho; two vacancies in Yakima County with one trainee to fill one of the <br /> vacancies, Judi Harris; two vacancies in Benton County with two trainees <br /> to fill these positions, Michele Levenite, Regina Speer and; <br /> i <br />
