KITTITAS COUNTY <br /> BUDGET MEETING MINUTES <br /> BOCC AUDITORIUM ROOM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 215 - ELLENSBURG <br /> Friday 1:30PM October 67, 2022 <br /> Board members present: Cory Wright, Brett Wachsmith, Laura Osiadacz <br /> Others: Brian Carlson, Emily Smith.,Nick Henderson, Jerry Pettit, Cori McKean, Andrew <br /> Yoder, Tracy Koga, Todd Davis, Julie Forinash, Jeanne Killgore <br /> 1. Call to order: 1:30pm <br /> 2. Citizen Comments (1 min. time limit): None <br /> 3. Coroner Budget discussed <br /> Mr. Henderson reviewed the Coroner Office budget, noting a reduction in reimbursable autopsy <br /> services from State of WA. He introduced a request for design funds for a new facility. After <br /> discussion with BOCC it was recommended to consider this proposal outside of budget <br /> appropriation hearings, so as to ensure due diligence. <br /> 4. Noxious Weed Budget <br /> Mr. Davis reviewed the department budget proposal and history. <br /> 5. Auditor Budget <br /> Mr. Carlson and Mr. Petit reviewed the office budget and provided a historic view to expenses, <br /> revenues, and drivers of each. Mr. Carlson requested an additional $50K above scheduled <br /> personnel increases so as to re-scope existing staff positions and tasks. <br /> 6.
